I sit near the edge of a silent river within a corrupted land. Darkness and shadows reign here, as they do in my soul. Rain beats on my shoulders, my head, but I honestly don't care. My cowl is pulled down over my eyes, so far down that I am not at all aware of my surroundings, only of my sad past playing through my mind.
